PEAK PTFV-HD Rotary Tube Fly Vise Head
A replacement head for compatible PEAK rotary vises, supplied with two pins for mounting fly tubes.
Description
If you already have a compatible PEAK rotary vise, this head lets you set up for tube flies using the rest of your bench setup. The maker supplies 1/32-inch and 1/16-inch pins. For plastic tubing, PEAK's instructions call for the largest supplied pin that fits inside the tube. Slide the tubing onto the pin and clamp the pin in the chuck. Avoid clamping the plastic tube directly.

PEAK excludes Jurassic products and the PRNV non-rotary vise. Match your vise's actual model before ordering.
Which pin should I use?
Check the bore of your tube and choose the supplied pin that supports it properly. The numbers refer to pin diameter.
How should I care for the chuck?
PEAK's instructions call for wiping off adhesive spills promptly and keeping the moving parts clean. Follow the lubrication steps in the instructions, then remove excess oil from the gripping faces so the jaws can hold the pin.
