Compare vise rotation, jaw fit and handedness
Watch what the hook does when it turns
If you mainly need to see the far side, the Medallion’s turning and tilting head offers access. If you want to wind by rotating the vise, compare the Revolution’s inline geometry. Think about the wraps where that movement would help instead of choosing by the word rotary alone.
Compare the exact jaw and hook wire
Start with a list of the hooks you already own. The Traditional Regal range and the Stonfo Kaiman range belong to specific jaws. For thick wire or very small hooks, compare the actual gripping location and room around the bend before choosing on nominal size alone.
Choose the layout for your hands
The Traveler C2404-R is the right-handed configuration. Stonfo describes reconfiguring the Kaiman’s lever for either hand. Check what the model offers before assuming the handle can simply be moved to the other side.
